The premier trade show for launching materials for the footwear, apparel, furniture, jewelry, and automotive industries is now accepting registrations for its version in Novo Hamburgo/RS. The event will take place on August 26 at the Abicalçados headquarters. It is promoted by the Brazilian Association of Companies of Components for Leather, Footwear and Artifacts (Assintecal) in partnership with the Center for Brazilian Tannery Industries (CICB), the Brazilian Textile and Apparel Industry Association (Abit), the Brazilian Furniture Industries Association (Abimóvel), and the Brazilian Micro and Small Business Support Service (Sebrae).

Silvana Dilly, Assintecal’s superintendent, explains that although it’s a pocket version of the show, it will bring the INSPIRAMAIS experience to the Rio Grande do Sul hub. “The format in Novo Hamburgo will be a guided tour-style lecture with exclusive time slots for groups. In addition to receiving information from Assintecal’s Design and Research Center coordinator, Walter Rodrigues, they will also be able to see the inspirations already applied in the exhibition,” she said.

One of the most sought-after moments of the event is the lecture on the “Human” research, which was the basis for the creations in the latest materials collection launched at the INSPIRAMAIS in July in São Paulo/SP. During the talk, Walter Rodrigues will discuss the research, which has “Hope” as its keyword. “It’s a committed hope; a hope that recaptures a sense of community and utopia,” he revealed. According to Rodrigues, the study presents materials influenced by dance, playfulness, maximalism, nostalgia, youth culture, elasticity, and fluidity. “In the materials, this is reflected in many satins, transparencies, knits, maximalism, prints, and distortions. The color palette features prominent greens (pea), shades of blue, and salmon. The format in Novo Hamburgo will be a guided tour-style lecture with exclusive time slots for groups, where, in addition to receiving information from the coordinator, they will also be able to see the inspirations already applied in the exhibition.”
